Love your blog! And great job on the show :-D
ReplyDeleteSaw your wonderful segment on the show -- am now a follower!
ReplyDeleteI will be making this cake for my friend's birthday! Since I don't own a scale, what is the next best method to measuring the cakes out evenly?
ReplyDeleteHi I saw your segment on the martha stewart show online (as I live in the UK) and LOVED your rainbow cake!!!!! It was super and i am now a follower of your blog! you are so lucky to have met martha stewart congratulations!
ReplyDeleteHi Kaitlin,
ReplyDeleteI found you on Crafty Crow with your grandma's lemon crisps recipe. YUM! I love reading your blog and your recipes are to die for! Thanks for putting so much detail into them, they may look a little daunting for those of us who tend to cook with 5 ingredients or less, but the instructions are very clear and detailed and give me confidence in my ability to follow your lead. I like that you give a glimpse into your life with your personal anecdotes too. I watched the MS Rainbow Cake segment and you did a great job. I'm going to make that cake for my 3 year old's next birthday, she'll love it! Good luck to you with all your ventures and ideas. If you get a button for your blog I'd be happy to post it on mine. Till then you're on my blog roll.
How absolutely fantastic!!! You're just a cute and bubbly as I would have imagined. This cake is what brought me to your website in the first place and I've looked forward to each and every one since. Congrats to you on the success "Oh the places you'll go..."
ReplyDeleteMeg
I've been reading your blog for a little while; found the link from deviantArt and the beautiful photography you take of your baked wonders.
ReplyDeleteI thought you were great on the show and now that I've seen you make the cake and how relatively easy it seems I really want to try it out. I fear that I might struggle a great deal though, since we are a food-processor/any kind of kitchen machinery-less household...
Pam I didn't have a scale either I measured out a cup at a time in each bowl til the batter was gone. It worked for me
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS! You're segment is just FABULOUS! I can't wait to try your cake when my neice comes to town this summer. ~Mary

Thank you for visiting my blog and congratulations for participating in the Martha Stewart show.
