About the Kid

Beginning in the summer of 2009, Whisk Kid has served as a way for 23-year-old Kaitlin Flannery to grow her passions for writing, photography, and baking. Beyond that, it has provided her a long-term, self-guided lesson in branding and marketing, which she studied at Michigan State University's Broad College of Business.
Somewhat of a cookbook/diary/photo album mashup, Whisk Kid details Kaitlin's memories, experiences, hopes, and uncertainties. Her goal is to inspire through her words and recipes, and she invites you to kick back and stay awhile.
Through the years, Kaitlin has been fortunate enough to be featured on The Martha Stewart Show, The Motherhood, Channel 7 Action News, and Splashlife.
